My name is Julie & my husband is Ian. We lived in Scotland, UK for 10 years before moving to Pennsylvania last April to find our dream home near the beach in a warm sunny climate.We found it here in Taft, Texas. We now live in a quiet residential neighborhood with our dogs & 1 cat.

We have always loved animals and I have raised pets of all sorts for my whole life; dogs, cats, gerbils and a ferret.

We have supported many animal charities both here & in the UK, & continue to support as many as we can by donation or by helping out personally. We fostered pets through Last Chance Pet Rescue, based in Ingleside, by giving a temporary home to homeless pets that need care until they can be adopted by loving families. I became a board member for LCR in January 2008.

In September 2008 I became a Regional Director for South Texas for Wishbones For Pets,a non-profit organization that helps pet-sitters organize goods/fund raisers for their local pet charities from mid-October up to Thanksgiving.

In December 2008 we became involved with helping our community better their dogs' living conditions by helping low income families get their dogs medical attention and proper food and shelter. The goal is to get these dogs off of chains and either into fenced in yards or reintroduced into the family home.
